A Deal for Every Day
A key part of VML’s new Pizza Hut CRM strategy involved branding a series of Daily Deals, reinforcing that specific menu items would be discounted on different days of the week. Scott and his team were tasked with elevating these deals beyond simple menu promotions and turning them into memorable experiences for Pizza Hut’s subscribers.
On Wednesdays We Eat Wings
The first of these efforts was Wing Wednesday.
Scott took design cues from existing branded properties like MyHutBox and evolved them into a fun, ownable mark that was unmistakably Pizza Hut.

Some Like ’Em Hot
With the new logo in place, Scott and his team crafted emails, app pushes, and SMS messaging to match the boldness of Pizza Hut’s spicy wing flavors.



Just Another Manic Melts Monday
Following the success of Wing Wednesday in spotlighting wings, Scott and his team were tasked with improving sales for Melts.
Scott’s new design again leveraged elements of Pizza Hut’s design language while evoking a fun, playful experience for users to associate with the Melts menu.
